Action Research Consultation Service (ARCS)
Factory School operates the Action Research Consultation Service. Part of an organizational mentoring function grounded in the concept of mutual-aid, our research agents operate independently of the Factory School mainframe, serving individuals and community groups (however conceived) as they:
--implement research agendas, including project modeling, data interpretation and presentation of findings;
--develop strategic plans and assessment regimes tuned to fit local needs while adhering to the sometimes discordant projections of remote and out-of-touch stakeholders.
--create a transparent mechanism for the spontaneous and intuitive generation of a culture of writing, editing and publication.
Currently, there is no cost for the Consultation Service. We are constantly in a state of project development, seeking partners and clients.

There are currently two branches of the Consultation Service, one in the Laurel Highlands near Pittsburgh and the other in the Chicago area. If you are interested in accessing the Service, please contact "info" at factory school dot org.
